When it comes to shapes of the boots, the most common variation to the normal boot is the high boots. The high boots come in various heights and the most common height for the high shoes is between the ankle and the knee. Texans mostly wear these boots as their everyday’s wear whilst they work with cattle and because of that they have earned the name cowboy boots.
Other forms of boots that are commonly worn in and around us in our daily lives include Chelsea Boots jump boots and steel toe boots. Tradesmen working on construction sites or other sites, where heavy machinery is being used most commonly wear the Chelsea boots. The jump boots are also known by the other name of paratrooper boots. Personnel of the national army mostly wear these boots. These boots provide strong support around the ankle and are made for rugged terrain. The steel toe shoes are most commonly found in the industrial settings where the chances of hurting one’s feet are higher. These shoes as the name suggest, have a steel or composite material protection around the toes. These boots assist in protecting the feet from getting hurt by falling or sharp objects.
So when you are out these looking for the there are a few things to look out for. The first and foremost thing to look out for is the purpose of the boots. If your primary purpose is to buy the boots for work, then the type of work that you do shall determine what type of boots you will be buying.
Then next important thing that you need to keep a watch on is the cost of the boots that you buy. Boots can cost anywhere from $50 up to $1000. It is also important to understand the relationship between your work and the cost of the boot. If you work in a corporate environment and you are paid over the top, you can go out and get the $1000 boots but if your job requires you to be at a construction site going through cement and dirt and concrete, then your choice of shoes should be something that would protect your feet and if that means that you need to spend a decent amount, then your choices are limited.
It does not matter whether you wear an expensive boot or an ordinary one; the important thing is that it should fit well!
